HAFS F.2 Super Jerry

 

One of the larger manned vehicles in Ma.K, the mercenary troops Super Jerry heavy walker. This is the 3Q update of the original Nitto kit. This kit is a fantastic design with great presence however the interior parts really show their age as the fit and molding was basically unusable.

Because the kit's interior was discarded (the Super Jerry updates the original Nitto Jerry to have an armored canopy instead of the clear one) one of the wonderfully sculpted Brick Works resin figures was added to the scene - the high details of the figure made my fairly average figure painting skills get put to the test. A few small modifications to the walker itself were made, mainly the addition of the small snub nosed cannon instead of the laser in the chin gun mount.

While the kit was fairly straightforward, it was really being forced to hunker down and paint the resin figure without messing up since it was discontinued that ended being the most rewarding part of the build. 

This finished build is one of many that were sold or donated during a move - I hope it is happily on display with its new owner! Thank you and have a great one.
