EMS-10 Zudah Thunderbolt
While I found the MS Igloo series pretty uneven (talk about 3D CG that has NOT aged well), the new Zudah MS introduced in the series looked great. At the time the recently released Thunderbolt series was everywhere, and I thought the Zudah's thruster covered design would fit well with the aesthetics of the Thunderbolt MS - time to take the HG and build a bridge of the two.
The main goal of this project was to attempt making debris on a base - a variety of styrene scraps, spare parts, and crushed cork for texture were added. The kit is mounted with brass rod down to the base for stability.
The gatling shield is made from the kit shield along with the gatling from the HG Gouf Custom kit. The rifle is from the Builders Parts giveaway parts, and the backpack fuel tank is from the Rick Dom II HG. The kit was painted with Gunze Mr. Gundam Colors and some leftover decals from a variety of sources were used. Epoxy putty was used to make the Thunderbolt style soft joints and thus the kit is now locked in a fixed pose.
This build was a fun little experiment in combining styles and doing a "What If" build in the Gundam universe. Thanks for looking!
