AT-ST

One of the few commissioned builds I have done, this Bandai AT-ST was quite an easy build owing to the clean engineering of the Bandai kit and simply color scheme. I'm not the biggest Star Wars fan, but the client was, and they were happy with the result so I am pleased.

The Bandai kit comes together with almost no visible seam lines and is very detailed (apparently they took 3D scans of the original filming models when making their kits). The standard Empire gray color scheme was used with just a pop of color to break up the monotony.

The kit surprisingly came with both regular stickers and waterslides that were of very high quality. The decals easily settled down with just water before applying decal setter which was a welcome surprise. Articulation isn't much on this kit, but a decent walking pose was able to be achieved.

If you are a Star Wars fan, I'm sure you will enjoy working on this kit - for a commission on a subject that is not my wheelhouse, it was a fairly breezy and simple build!
